This project intends to explore the ways in which contrasting from industry norms can create a more unique and standout brand identity. Waveform as a brand, as well as the Shoutout speaker, are concepts developed for use in this project. Myself as well as two other designers collaborated to produce the brand and advertisements seen here, with myself being a major contributor to brand direction and the sole 3D designer for this project. All footage seen below is designed and produced by myself, and the edits and overlays are courtesy of my fellow designers.
The art direction for this particular project was aimed at trying to challenge the standard format for tech industry advertisements, with the end goal being to appeal to a younger demographic with punchy, vibrant visuals.
Above is the full, 30-second cut of the advertisement, and below is the 15-second cut. In including both, we ensured that any and all platform-based restrictions on ad length would be covered.
